Food Preservation 101

Event Description: 

Come learn how to can fresh produce from the garden or farmer's market. Can you use a water bath canner or do you need to use a pressure canner? What type of jars to use, how long to process the food, shelf life of home processed food? What about freezing fruits and vegetables or herbs? There will be information about that also. Come have a good time and make the most out of your produce!
